Mental Health
We deliver support that promotes recovery, giving people real choice and control over how they want to lead their lives.
Our goal is to improve well-being by building confidence, fostering independence and resilience. That means really getting to know people – how they want to be supported, what they want to achieve in life and what matters to them.
Our specialist teams work collaboratively with MDT’s to promote and sustain a positive post-discharge experience, to prevent admission and relapses.

LDA are proud to support Lucy who, after significant time spent in hospital with Mental Health difficulties, was successfully discharged back into her own home. In fact, she has progressed so well she has recently been nominated and awarded national student of the year. She is incredibly proud of this achievement and so is her entire support team!
She has continuously engaged in studies related to Mental Health and counselling throughout the time she has been supported by LDA, regardless of several physical and Mental Health complications she has endured. Lucy has actively participated in her studies, with and without encouragement, and has always completed her work independently with the emotional support from staff.
She has shown great determination in developing academically and will continue to be encouraged by her support workers to develop and progress in her academic career, as well as developing socially and participating in voluntary or paid work in the local community
